In his spare time (which is really all the time), Zach enjoys reading discount shopping booklets. Followed by a little cat harassment.
In all seriousness, Zach has reached the point where he walks over to you with a book from his bin wanting you to read it to him. He also sits on you by backing up in an exaggerated, and so far unphotographed, way.
These are from New Years Day. We were surprised with a couple inches of snow on the ground when we woke up.
We quickly bundled Zach up in whatever we brought and rushed him out to play in the snow before it melted. After some initial "what the hell is this white stuff?" hesitation, he loved it.
Unfortunately, Zach's time in the snow was brief. Shortly after the last picture, he slipped and bounced his face off an overturned shovel. He just had a little bruise, but playtime in the snow was over.
After a two month layoff, Zach is back.
Between work, a basement remodel, and a couple other side projects, the Zach Blog got squeezed from my schedule. I took much harassment for this and I readily admit this post is long overdue.
Fortunately, we didn't stop taking pictures. Despite the fact that it's difficult to get Zach both in frame and in focus because he moves so fast, I've got two months worth of pictures that I'll be posting over the next couple weeks.
