Zach's grandparents have a decent sized koi pond in their spacious and scenic backyard. We spent the end of a lazy weekend feeding the koi, picking weeds in The Garden of Weedin', and running up and down the big hill.

The Pear
What is Zach crying about?
Melissa would let him eat her pear. And when she would, it wasn't fast enough.
We continue to inch closer and closer to Zach eating regular foods all the time.

Art projects
Now that Melissa is home with Zach two days a week, she's got Zach doing a little art project at least once a week. I only have pictures of him using crayons, but he also enjoys finger paints, markers, and, his latest favorite, stamps.

Zach Is Back
Since the last post, Zach has pursued his love of music and become an introspective rock star (who apparently does laundry).
I'm kidding of course, but he does look a little scary in that picture juxtaposed with some folded whites.
After a year and a half of blogging, I'm seeing a trend. The Zach Blog takes a month off whenever we get busy running around or working around the house. I'd like to post more consistently, but I think that trend is a more honest expectation.
At the moment, I have pictures dating back to Easter that need the be shared. Stay tuned.

Cupcakes
Zach not only loves cupcakes. We have to spell it out c-u-p-c-a-k-e, because he recognizes the word.
